Frequently asked questions

Can I bring children?

Yes. Children under 4 stay free and do not count toward the 3-per-room limit. Children above 4 are counted as guests.

Can I extend my stay?

Online bookings are for 2 nights maximum. To extend, visit the accommodation counter on your second day. Extensions are granted on the spot subject to availability.

What if I arrive late at night?

Plan to arrive before 8 PM. If delayed, accommodation cannot be confirmed after that time. A taxi to a nearby hotel in Puttaparthi town is the backup option.

Is vegetarian food the only option?

Yes. Both canteens serve only vegetarian food. No non-vegetarian food, eggs, tobacco or alcohol are permitted anywhere on campus — even in your room.

Can I enter the Mandir at any time?

Darshan follows the published bhajan and programme schedule. Do not enter outside those times; the Mandir is locked between sessions.

What ID does a foreign national need?

A valid passport. Form C (available in the Policies section) must also be submitted at check-in. A Nepali citizenship card is not accepted — a passport is required.
